Number of years on Council: Newly elected
Personal Background: I moved to the M.D. in 1980 and currently live down the road from the house I grew up in. My wife of 13 years, Elaine is also from the area and we have three wonderful children, Ben, Jordyn and Jaxon. I am heavily involved in numerous non-profit organizations and keep busy chasing my kids around in different sports. Employment
Background: I have worked in the oilfield since graduating college, mostly around the Bonnyville area. I've worked in several different capacities from labourer to supervisor. I am currently employed as an outside sales rep for a local distribution company.
Reasons for becoming a member of Council: I have a high sense of community pride and wanted to contribute everything I can to help our M.D. flourish. I'm proud to call the Lakeland my home and I hope my kids and their kids are able to do the same.
Term Goals and Priorities: I will work with my fellow Council members to bring the Lakeland area amenities and facilities up to a standard our residents expect.
