Area Structure Plans

Purpose

Area Structure Plans (ASPs) form a detailed framework for the subdivision and development of a specific area of land.

Future plans and procedures to deal with issues such as land use, environment, storm water management, and transportation and utility routes make up the bulk of these documents.

ASPs Currently
Being Created/Reviewed

ASPs for the Hamlet of Ardmore and Hamlet of Cherry Grove are currently being reviewed and updated. An ASP is a high-level planning document that provides a blueprint for the development of a community. Through the creation of an ASP, vision and guiding principles are established to inform the type and location of development.
