Cold Lake Ambulance Services

Administration

The Cold Lake Ambulance Society (CLAS) is a non-profit organization that is governed by a Board of Directors in conjunction with a medical director. The society meets regularly to ensure an optimum level of ambulance service is provided to all its clients.

Service

CLAS provides a 24-hour advanced life support / basic life support (ALS/BLS) service.

Staff

The society utilizes it's well trained, experienced staff to respond to emergencies in either district and/or industrial sites. The staffing within the society consists of:

  • 20 (average) casual EMT-P's, EMT-A's, and emergency medical response personnel
  • Director of operations, which is a working emergency medical technician (EMT)-P
  • Six full-time EMT-P's and EMT-A's
  • Two part-time EMT-A's
