The Municipal District of Bonnyville is a part of the Alberta Recycling Management Authority (ARMA) expanded electronics pilot project.
While the M.D. already accepts a number of electronics for recycling at our seven landfills/transfer stations, this pilot project will allow us to divert even more waste from landfills. During this pilot project, we are asking you to sort any electronic recycling items. This will allow ARMA to determine how successful the expanded program is.
As you can see above, there are a number of new items that can be recycled. To see the entire list, click here. To find out more about this project, including ARMA's aim, FAQs, and more visit the ARMA e-pilot website.
If you have any questions about this program, or recycling in the M.D., please contact our Waste Services Manager, Brad Ollen, at 780-826-3951.
