[ARCHIVED] M.D. Shelter Belt Program Returns UPDATED

The M.D. of Bonnyville Agriculture Department will be continuing our shelterbelt program this year. The M.D. offers seedlings at a discounted cost to M.D. ratepayers.

This year the following trees grown from the local Boreal Tree Nursery will be available:
White spruce - sold in bundles of 10
Colorado Spruce - sold in bundles of 15
Lodgepole Pine - sold in bundles of 15
Tamarack - sold in bundles of 15
White Birch - sold in bundles of 10
Okanese Hybrid Poplar - sold in bundles of 10

FRUIT TREES JUST ADDED
The following fruit trees will be available for $6.50 each. There are limited numbers of each.
Gogi Berry
Carmine Jewel
Northline Saskatoon

Each seedling is $.80. Payment of cash or cheque will be accepted at pick up which is usually around mid-May

For those residents who have ordered trees from the Bowden Alberta Tree Nursery program, your trees will be delivered to the M.D shop around the middle of May. Upon pick up there will be a $5.00 shipping and handling fee.
